Growing Forward 2 has been developed with the help of producers, processors and other industry stakeholders. We will continue to consult with the Newfoundland and Labrador agriculture sector to ensure the programming available supports a more profitable and competitive industry for the province's farmers.
Under Growing Forward 2, Newfoundland and Labrador producers will continue to have access to a comprehensive suite of Business Risk Management programs including AgriInsurance, AgriInvest and AgriStability. These programs offer protection to producers who experience small and large declines in farm income, as well as provide coverage for crop losses due to uncontrollable natural perils.
